Loading Training Continues

We're progressing with our loading training. This time we got to the point of having the butt bar up, putting up the rear ramp whilst the front ramp was still down and then waiting calmly for the front bar to be taken off before walking down the front ramp. She was a bit nervous when we did up the rear ramp and bar and wanted to keep turning her head to look. I fed her lots of little pieces of apple to keep her looking and thinking forward. It's funny really as she has definitely travelled before - she came here on her own in a 1.5 place trailer. Maybe when she was doing shows before, she went in a lorry with other horses, plus she was so ill and weak when she arrived here, that might be why she wasn't making much fuss about being in the trailer.
