Lutine playing in the mud

We often have very dry spells of weather over here and this autumn was no exception. We had almost 8 weeks with very little rain - just a couple of overnight spells but nothing meaningful. So when the rain arrives, the horses tend to go mad and rush about, rolling in the mud and having great fun. Lutine is no exception to this! Here she is playing with her great friend, Mascagne, who is also the little horse that joined her on her illicit escapades in the grazing field. What I like about this video is that Lutine is looking after Mascagne, who is only partially sighted. They are playing together carefully whilst the other horses in the herd rush about in a wild gallop.
